HOW TO EDIT YOUR GAME TO MAKE IT WORK FOR ANY AGE?

What if your students don’t know their letters or numbers yet?

Are you worried escape games are too challenging for your younger students? Not sure how your students will open a number lock if they don’t even know their numbers yet? Worry no more!

Escape games can be used as tools for students of all age groups. The materials just need to be tweaked a bit to make the lockable part more age appropriate. Don’t be afraid to start games as a more teacher led activity until your students are ready to take ownership.

What other types of locks can you use?

Change out word locks and number locks for simple key locks that have been color coded. This can make all the difference in your escape game design and make the activity completely engaging for younger kids.
